Smash City, a halal smash burger and hot dog concept, will open its second location, the first in Houston, with a weekend celebration September 13 from 5 pm to 5 am and September 14 from 11 am to 5 am at 6377 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77057. Guests attending the grand opening weekend can look forward to free food, 50% off discounts, giveaways, celebrity guest appearances, delicious bites, and more.
Smash City is a Houston-based restaurant concept that opened its first food truck location in Baton Rouge, LA, in August 2025. Now, they are opening their first brick-and-mortar storefront in Houston, Texas.
The grand opening event will begin on Saturday, September 13, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 pm, followed by a one-hour meet-and-greet with local rapper Trae Tha Truth until 6 pm. 93.7 The Beat will be on-site, hosting a live remote starting at 5 pm. Guests can enjoy three hours of complimentary food from 5 pm to 8 pm. After the complimentary period ends, guests can enjoy 50% off all menu items from 8 pm to 5 am.
On Sunday, September 14th, the celebration will continue with 50% off all food and beverages from 11 am to 5 am the following morning.
As part of the festivities, Smash City will host an in-store giveaway where one guest will receive free Smash City for an entire year. The prize includes one meal per week, up to a $20 value, for 52 weeks. To enter, guests must RSVP via Eventbrite and make an in-store purchase on either event day. Each RSVP and qualifying purchase will earn one entry into the giveaway. The winner will be announced on Smash City’s official Instagram account and contacted directly via email or phone.
